We have two kids in SSA: one competitive and the other rec. We have enjoyed the relationships we've built and our kids have really loved playing on their teams.

The 09 mls next team and parents are very ignorant. Bad sportsmanship all the way around but I guess thats what we should expect in Atlanta

Always in Atlanta

This is a horrible organization!! I signed up my 4 year old son for the U5 program; #1, thing- if u4 & u5 are supposed to be FUN & teaching kids the basics, this program failed at that. There was horrible Communication about practice & general questions. Although, they say volunteer coaches are provided with training & resources, the coaches are clearly not upheld to a certain standard. No positive reinforcement for the kids- the practice doesn’t consist of any fun activities. And lastly, staff are pretty useless. They don’t answer the phone & they aren’t helpful. If you have a young child 3-13, that has never played or is new to soccer, this program is just in here for the money $$. They are not in it to expose young people to the sport. And they for sure aren’t in it for the kids! If you care about your kid & you want them to have a fun time, don’t sign them up for this program. They will not get learn anything & they will not be given any kind of positive reinforcement. Sign them up to a program that treats its youth with respect.

Our experience with this club was disappointing, especially when compared to the standards set by programs like NASA and Concorde. A major concern was the complete absence of communication with parents regarding team activities or player progress. Furthermore, there appeared to be no structured plan for improving players' skills. It felt as though teams were kept together primarily for revenue generation, without a commitment to meaningful tournament play or even consistently decent weekly practices.

Been refereeing for a few years for SSA. I wouldn’t send my kids to play for them unless they purge their entire coaching staff u16 a down. Utterly disgusting how they think they can talk to their glorified volunteers who take time from our weekends so these kids have proper staff to play their games. These coaches need to worry about their own players and get a reality check on how they talk to refs. SSA is terrible and your kids will not grow from their programs if they keep these .
