This place has had its challenges, for sure. My family temporarily stepped away because of some stuff that happened. I even wrote and posted a negative review, not to hurt them, but in hopes that issues be addressed appropriately. To that end, the owners really are working hard to get things back on track. They are good people and truly are making every effort to make the gym, once again, be the best it can be. The temporary manager that made everyone upset is no longer with the gym. There are no kids in a dangerous situation. But for the grace of God anyone could find themselves having a similar problem and be in need of gracious people to love them through a difficult time. If you formerly came to this place, I’d invite you back. If you have not been and have kids interested in gymnastics, give them a shot.

Be aware before allowing your child to compete on these teams. I can only give you my experience on the competitive team side. The owner lacked integrity and accountability way before discovering she had a substance abuse problem. I had an issue with a refund/credit that I was entitled to, and it took approximately 2 months for her to finally Zelle me my money back. From there, I was planning to leave right after meet season, but since my daughter loved her coaches and teammates, I decided to stay. The few interactions I had with her in the past were always weird and unsettling, but I could never fully put my finger on it. Then April 22, 2026, it all came together. Parents were pulling their kids off teams, coaches were resigning, the office manager put in her 2 weeks notice, and the front desk receptionist left immediately. An email was sent introducing the new Gym Director, which we later found out was her father. Parents were hopeful thinking we could all stick together and help keep the place afloat. But oh no. Skip Driggers was the most unprofessional, unpleasant, unsympathetic, and disrespectful “Christian” man I’ve ever dealt with. I would’ve been out of my mind to continue leaving my daughter in the hands of someone who answered me “WHAT” when I simply raised my hand to ask a question. A man who didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in with a greeting. A man who kept repeating “I’m in charge now,” but still has not refunded the money he said he would. Then to find out my decision to remove my daughter was completely confirmed when I saw the owner, Joanna Crook, was arrested for the same issues that caused her business to crumble: substance abuse. DUI REFUSAL RECKLESS DRIVING FAILURE TO MAINTAIN LANE FAIL TO REPORT STRIKING FIXED OBJECT I do want to thank all the staff members who truly supported the athletes and families through all of this. Thank you to the parents who stood together and spoke up for what was right. This was a bittersweet ending. We were forced to separate. Some girls found new teams, some found new passions, and some remain hopeful that things will somehow be fixed. Unfortunately, the pre-team and recreational families were oblivious to everything behind the scenes. I hope this review sheds light on what the team families had to deal. Wishing everyone the best of luck and the refund that we all deserve.

My daughter has been going here for over a year now. She started off in tumbling class but the class day changed to a day that conflicted with my schedule, so we switched her to beginner girls gymnastic and she loves it. I really appreciate how structured it is, each class has a set list of skills that your child must demonstrate before they are promoted to the next level. The coaches make sure they are hands on with demonstrating and teaching these skills each class to make sure your child learns and is able to execute safely. The student to coach ratio is perfect which makes sure your child can get 1:1 time I appreciate them having a parent viewing room which gives you a view into the entire gym so you can sit and watch your child during their class time. Overall we are satisfied with this place and i recommend this gym to other friends and family

My family recently made the decision to withdraw our child from Southern Gymnastics due to a series of deeply concerning interactions with the organization. We were presented with unprofessional and unsubstantiated claims about a parent, including a sudden ban from the premises. At no point were we provided with any documented incidents or evidence to support these allegations, leaving us confused and alarmed by the accusations. Because of the lack of transparency and the way the situation was handled, we no longer feel comfortable entrusting our child to the staff at this facility. Families deserve clarity, professionalism, and respect—especially when it comes to their children’s activities. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect those values.

My daughter LOVES this place and all of her teachers. She counts down the days until she goes back again. They have a great price for their programs, and we pay monthly, which is super helpful and convenient. They also have an open gym if you need extra time on the equipment, it's a very low cost. I highly recommend this gym!
