Southern Chesapeake Athletic Association is a nonprofit youth baseball and softball organization, founded in 1961 as Great Bridge Baseball and now the largest of its kind in Hampton Roads, running summer baseball camps and softball camps and mini-camps alongside its seasonal leagues. The softball offerings include an all-skills camp for ages 6 and up and a pitchers and catchers mini-camp for ages 7-16; camps run over a few days rather than a full summer and are registered online. Programs are based at the organization's 15-field complex in the Hickory section of Chesapeake, which also hosts regional PONY tournaments.

We frequent these baseball fields often for youth games. There is a nice snack bar and bathroom facilities located at the center of the complex.

I play softball here, the league is amazing, fields are spacious I highly recommend. No tryouts, just boom your on the team.

We love it here, this is my son's first year in baseball, and I used to come watch my little brother play games out here long before that. The fields are well maintained and the coaches are lovely.
