Five stars all the way. Bobby and his coaches at Grand Slam 2 have always done right by my family and by so many families we know. What separates them is that they care about the things other people often overlook: work ethic, confidence, discipline, fundamentals, and the personal growth of each kid who walks through the door. The facility may not be the newest or flashiest, and yes, there have been air conditioning issues over the years, but in a strange way that is part of what makes the place special. Grand Slam 2 is not about looking pretty. It is about developing players, building toughness, and tempering metal into steel. Bobby has helped hundreds, if not thousands, of kids over the years make school teams, travel teams, and continue playing at higher levels. A few names connected to his coaching and influence — David Wright, Michael Cuddyer, B.J. Upton, and Justin Upton, to name a few — went on to have successful MLB careers. That kind of track record speaks for itself. On a personal level, Bobby and his staff helped my daughter get to a great Division III school, and he coached my son, who many other thought might be unteachable. That says everything you need to know about their patience, skill, and dedication. He is not afraid to give it straight. He will tell it like it is. Even if that makes you uncomfortable. He wants you to be better and no one ever got better by telling they were good at something when they weren't. His Motto. Practice makes perfect....No... Perfect Practice makes Perfect. Grand Slam 2 is the real deal. It is a place where kids are coached, pushed, supported, and made better. We are grateful for everything Bobby and his coaches have done for our family. Five stars without hesitation.

JP is an **awesome coach**! He was incredibly patient and encouraging with our 9-year-old, who had never played softball before. We signed her up for the last hitting class of the season, and he did a fantastic job—not just with our daughter, but with all five girls in his group. His coaching style was simple and easy for young girls to understand, and he made sure to praise each player as they made adjustments. You could genuinely see his love for coaching and developing young athletes. Today’s session truly helped our daughter feel prepared for her first experience with organized youth sports. We’re a soccer family, so this is completely new territory for us! We’re hopeful that today’s positive experience will help foster her love and enjoyment of softball. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Great visit as usual! Would be a 5 star if the fast pitch softball machine was running. Otherwise, you can still hit baseball fast pitch, but true players know its not the same! Still love the facility!
