One of the great things about living in Virginia Beach is their infrastructure of complexes for youth sports in this city. I would say that Virginia Beach has one of the biggest youth soccer programs in the country. There are also numerous fields around the city to utilize. My family is very sports oriented, so this city is perfect for my children. They all have participated in the number of youth sports programs around the city whether it be soccer, gymnastics, swimming, baseball and so on. I love the city of Virginia Beach. I cannot think of another city that I would rather raise my children in than Virginia Beach. I am from New York City and I am so thankful that my children weren't raised in that city. Don't get me wrong I love New York City, but it's a different animal now than it was wheb I was a child. It's very rough and you have to be a pretty tough kid to "survive" being raised in New York City. People in Virginia Beach are nice and hospitable, people in New York, not so much. I am so thankful my employment lead me here to this city. I never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever live in the south, but it was one of the best things to happen to my family.
