American Sokol Fort Worth runs week-long summer camps in gymnastics, cheer and parkour at its Boat Club Road gym. Families choose a half-day morning session (9:00 a.m.-noon), a half-day afternoon session (1:00-4:00 p.m.), or both for a full day; full-day campers bring their own lunch. Members pay a reduced rate and camp size is capped, so registration is by email or phone in advance. Founded in 1912, Sokol Fort Worth is a nonprofit and the oldest gymnastics school in Tarrant County.

★Jazmin SullingerNot sure if Pauline still runs the show, but back in 2016-2017 I was sexually assaulted by a coach here. Multiple older gymnasts came forward to Pauline that they were seeing my coach inappropriately touch some of the girls in our group. Nothing was done with this information and she let it continue on until a girl from our group told her mom. No background check was done on said coach before hiring, and if Pauline had done that she would have seen he had a sexual assault record in Oklahoma- and he was not to be coaching gymnastics in ANY state. At the court hearing, Pauline decided to show up and the only thing she said to me was "are you competing this weekend?" I was 11 years old. I dont think she's very competent to be running a business with young children if she can't take precautions to protect said children. Dont waste your money here unless you want a lifetime of trauma for your child.
★★★★★Kirk MayesMy daughter has been going to Sokol for over 2 years now. She came from a a recreational gym, so it was a big step up for her. She hit tge ground running and I've loved watching her grow and get better each day. She has loved nearly every coach that has come through (a lot of seasonal former students coaching when not in school). Over the past year, Coach Holly and Coach Katie have added some stability and consistency and it really shows in all the girls. Quite a few parents' faces have become very familiar, more consistency. It speaks to the family vibe that has really taken shape. Is everything perfect? No. But family is not supposed to be perfect. And like a family, Sokol gives the more you put in. The coaches, staff, and parents truly care about every gymnast. If you want a gym that will support your child, one that will put THEM first, over winning and medals, this is the gym for you.

With its international roots dating back to 1862 makes us realize we are part of something great.
