SiliconValley4U is a technology academy founded in 2015 and headquartered in San Ramon, running in-person summer camps at its San Ramon and Fremont sites as well as online. Camps cover coding, AI, robotics and 3D printing: campers build and program robots to move, sense and respond, and build apps in Python, Java, JavaScript and mobile frameworks. Instruction is live rather than pre-recorded, taught by instructors with backgrounds in software development, AI and game design. The academy offers programs for ages 6 and up, and reports having taught more than 15,000 students across the US, India, Australia, Ethiopia and Ghana. Daily camp hours and an upper age limit are not published.
