Coach Rob has been outstanding! Our daughter attends the junior classes and our son attends the more advanced classes. He does a great job at keeping it fun with the younger kids while still teaching early key fundamentals. He also does a very good job at switching gears to a more serious approach with the older group. I do not personally know anything about coaching basketball but it is apparent that he is an expert in his craft. We have found his lessons to be impactful on and off the court already. We have plans on sticking with Rob and his program Shine as long as it is available to us. Keep up the great work coach!

Can’t say enough positive things about Shine and Coach Rob! My Son has made tremendous improvement since joining Shine. Coach Rob embodies his values and it shows during training. Coach Rob takes his time with the kids during the drills to walk them through the drills, explains the logic and how it’s relevant during a game. My son has grown in skill, mental strength, knowledge and the love of basketball because of Coach Rob and Shine. Highly recommend Shine and a huge shout out to Coach Rob!

My son started the skills practice a few weeks ago and so far he has been excelling in dribbling and his form is starting to improve. He is part of another program and one of the big differences I have noticed is Shine does something different every practice and my son is getting corrected on how to do the drills other than struggle through and not learn. I have also noticed that every single kid and parent is very respectful nice and welcoming!!

My son (8 years old) has been going for over a year now to the junior program and can't say enough about the Shine program and Rob in particular. They do a great job at this age group of balancing fun with discipline. All while teaching a skill based approach to learning the game that keeps the kids interested and entertained (something as a youth coach myself has always been incredibly difficult at the younger ages). My son's basketball skills have seen unbelievable improvement over the last year and even more importantly his attitude and love of the game have grown even more than just his skills. Great program, great leadership and honestly price cant be beat.

My son loves to go to Shine. He started learning basketball with coach Rob last June and even when he didn't know how to play it, coach Rob had lot of patience with him. Now he knows about the fundamentals and he is getting better every week. I love how Shine is focus on the kids, strength the players abilities, respect between players and support them in any aspect of life. My son is very dedicated to basketball and he wants to keep learning. He is at school very discipline because he wants to go to every training possible. Thank you coach Rob!
