SF TENNIS KIDS Club runs weekly summer day camps at three San Francisco sites. Tennis camps for ages 5-17 meet on the San Francisco State University campus, multi-sport playground camps for ages 4-12 at George Christopher Playground cover basketball, soccer, volleyball, flag football and gardening fundamentals, and disc golf and ultimate frisbee camps for ages 6-17 run in Golden Gate Park. All three meet Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; the tennis camp is offered as full-day or half-day, and campers are evaluated and grouped by age and skill level. Beginner instruction uses the USTA QuickStart format, and camps run June into late August with an early-bird discount.

Powered by GoogleWe’ve been at SF TENNIS KIDS Club for 3 years and the difference in our child is huge. He started as a shy beginner and now rallies, serves, and actually asks to play tennis. Coaches keep the kids moving with lots of drills so they’re engaged the whole time, and the environment is very positive. The summer camp and weekly lessons have both been great. Highly recommend for kids’ tennis in San Francisco.
Their tennis lessons are well structured and the coaches are great with kids. We also loved the summer camp - fun, active, and very well organized. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality kids tennis lessons and summer camp in San Francisco.
We love this club. The coaches are professional, patient, and great with kids. My child loved the tennis lessons and we’re already signed up for their summer tennis camp. Organized, fun, and perfect for beginners and advanced players. Hands down the best kids tennis program in San Francisco! We signed up for their adult tennis lessons as well.
We did SF Tennis 🎾 club for 4 months = almost no progress and the teacher was truly not motivated. With 6-8 kids per class and 1 hour per week, it's not where your kid can progress. We switched to Tenacious with a much more motivated teacher and smaller group size.
As a parent, I can’t say enough good things about SF TENNIS KIDS Club. When we first started looking for kids tennis lessons in San Francisco, we wanted a place where our child would not only learn the sport but would also feel supported and motivated! From day one, the coaches made us feel welcome, and they truly know how to work with children of all ages and skill levels. My child started as a complete beginner! Wthin just a few months, I could already see huge improvements in technique, confidence, and overall love for the game. The coaches balance discipline with fun, so the kids stay engaged while learning proper strokes, footwork, and match play. We’ve done both the after-school tennis clinics and the summer tennis camp at SFSU courts, and both have been fantastic experiences. The camp was especially memorable—lots of tennis, games, and friendships formed. My child came home every day excited to go back the next morning! If you’re a parent searching for the best tennis lessons for kids in San Francisco, this is absolutely the place we recommend! The program is well organized, affordable, and run with so much care for the kids. I’m grateful we found this club, and we’ll definitely be continuing year-round.
