I went to the Shamrock Showdown here, and it was a total sauna - kids were gasping for air and grabbing their inhalers left and right. The ceiling fans were running, but they're like 60 feet up, so there's hardly any airflow down where the games are happening. The doors were all shut, so the air wasn't circulating at all. It was sweltering. I mentioned it to the ladies at the timeclock table - you know, where they keep all the medals? - and they said they'd look into it, but I'm pretty sure it didn't go anywhere. Not exactly the best experience for the kids, if you ask me.

We'll lit, you can hear what's happening on the field well without being too loud. Could use a lot more seating for visitors, but it's a good place to watch the kids play.
