Science Investigators is a small-group summer science program in Northbrook for children entering 3rd through 5th grade, founded and run by a local high school student. Each week takes one theme - design and engineering, water and density, living vs. non-living, or physical and chemical changes - through daily hands-on experiments, with campers recording observations in a journal. Sessions are short two-hour blocks rather than a full camp day, held either 1:30pm to 3:30pm or 10:00am to 12:00pm depending on the week, at $125 per week with 20% off for two or more weeks.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Science Investigators directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.
