East Carolina University's School of Theatre and Dance runs summer camps for K-12 students in Greenville. Its Summer Drama Camp teaches playwriting, acting, improvisation, movement, creative dramatics, puppetry, storybook theatre and set, costume and prop design, grouped by grade (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12) and culminating in a production such as Disney and Pixar's Finding Nemo KIDS. Families choose a full day (9am-4pm, about $280) or a half day (9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm, about $140). The school also offers The Edge musical theatre camp for high schoolers and a jazz dance camp.
