★★★★★Deldeirdra WebbI took my 4 grandsons to the children's section. It is very interactive. They never thought once about their phones. We stayed for 3 hours and they were never bored. Could have stayed longer if we weren't hungry. Also attended a children's play there last night for the kids with their church. The production was outstanding. My grandsons were very immersed in the play. It was the right length, only 35 minutes. The kids in the play "A Charlie Brown Christmas" were awesome.
★★★★★Lara Mi2025 Update: The new parrot is super stressed out and pulling out all his feathers, it made me very sad to see he looks so unhappy, but he does enjoy if you sing to him. I hope they move him some he is more comfortable and happy. Very beautiful facility! Completely ADA compliant with elevators and wide spacious areas throughout. Friendly and professional staff. We had a very enjoyable experience with the whole family, there are things to do for children as young as six months all the way up to 14 years old. The activities are not only entertaining, but engaging and educational. We planned to spend an hour and a half here and we ended up staying for 3.5 hours, just took our time on a Friday afternoon and it wasn’t busy so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The planetarium is incredible and worth the visit all on its own. Accessible and clean restrooms on each floor equipped with baby changing tables.

My son is 7 and he didnt want to leave when they were closing soon. There's so much to do and see. Not just the activities and art but the building itself was beautiful. Perfect way to spend a Tuesday in roadschool. Many thanks to everyone there for an incredibly enjoyable experience.
★★★★David KurisuA great spot to bring the kids. Its a smaller version of Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh but not as crowded. The down-side is some of the exhibits are dated and need some maintenance but all-in-all, for the price of admission, its still worth it.

I have a 2 year old and although some of the exhibits are for older kids, she still had a lot of opportunity for stimulation. When we went there was a laser light show in the planetarium and dinosaur theme. There are two floors for full interactive activities. There was also an art gallery but we didn't have time to go. If ever we end up in Rocky Mount, we will be sure to visit again!
