★Kenny HoytBogus citations, difficult, HOA staff. Denied my special needs daughter, a room rental to have a birthday party. Closed their Halloween haunted trail an hour early and told no one until you got there. The restaurant is mismanaged. The office staff is rude and when you call them out on it without even raising your voice, they will call security. The board is a private fraternity that hides meeting information. They treat renters like aliens. The mail gets stolen, and their only excuse is that the mail is federal, so it's not their responsibility, they don't have any cameras on it, they don't patrol it, they don't care. The place is has SO much potential, and IS a pretty spot, its a shame its not run more professionally. Look at some of the petty responses they post to these reviews. It says it all.
★TPotential buyers, PLEASE do not purchase a home here. "Voted #1 community in the Poconos" where? This "community" is so freaking corrupt from the board to the new "management" The board does not listen to the residents against HOA due increases. The amenities hours of operation are catered to the retired community who are home during the day. If you work a 9-5 your dues will pay for others to enjoy what you're missing out on. In addition, it's an absolute free for all on spend, they've purchased unnecessary $65k patrol vehicles so security can drive around and IGNORE people who carelessly speed 45+ mph up and down the roads. I'm OVER it. Emails, phone calls, absolutely nothing makes these people give a damn about residence/pedestrian safety. Now they want to pass out hi-vis bands after a school aged child was struck and nearly killed by one of these inconsiderate drivers. The restaurant (that has been closed for months) is a money pit that they keep investing more money into to use as a reason to increase dues yet again. They have an answer to everything instead of a solution to the problems. I absolutely LOVE my home, I just wish it was somewhere outside of those gates Edited to add: Generating an AI response to addressing concerns goes to show how FAKE the people who run this place are.
