Great location. Easy to get to. Easy to find. No difficulty finding parking! Small class so the teacher gets to know everyone.

Samford Academy of the Arts is one of the best kept secrets in Birmingham. It is a great place where learning of musical instruments such as piano, violin and harp, arts, photography, pottery and voice lessons is open for people all ages. They have instructors who have multiple decades of teaching music under their belt. It is a great and beautiful atmosphere for learning music education. They are also flexible with their schedule. We have been attending Samford Academy of the Arts for over seven years now. We definitely love it here.

I have two sons who have been though this program one is presently at the Academy. We have been with Samford Academy for about 11 years. We have had some very rewarding years. The teachers are very kind and knowledgeable. Our teacher, Jessica, is a knowledgeable, energetic and fun teacher who imparts good technique and instills a life long appreciation of music. The Samford Academy holds their students to a very high standard that does nothing less of setting them up for success. I give my highest recommendation to any level piano student that seeks instruction.

I have been taking private piano lessons here for almost 2 years. Although I am an adult, I have never taken piano lessons before. My instructor is very knowledgeable and patient and I have really enjoyed tackling this new area of my life. I also have taken classes in the arts taught by the Dean of the School of the Arts at Samford that have been both informative and a great deal of fun.

My daughter has stayed with Mrs. Wilbanks in piano for more than 7 years. And my son about 4 year. They love the teacher very much. My daughter wants to learn the piano until college. Mrs. Wilbanks is very responsible, patient, nice and inspiring. My daughter and son have won scholarship under her teaching. I could enjoy nice music from my kids at home! Once after my daughter's performance in recital, a student from Auburn music department told me my daughter's performance is really impressive.
