Dawson Music Academy runs a week-long Summer Music Camp in Birmingham, Alabama for children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade, held 9:00am-3:00pm with an extended 7:30am option. In small-group sessions campers explore an instrument of their choice (guitar, piano, percussion, ukulele, violin, or voice) and perform at an end-of-week showcase. It is run by Dawson (a family of faith / Baptist church).
