★★★★★Tom HamiltonKnown as the non-profit, always there to help out those in need. Most people do not know the Salvation Army is a Christian religious organization with their hand in humanitarian aid. The church structure is based on the KJV with Officers assigned to each church. Primarily paired up. Each carries a rank based on time in service and more. They preach, and serve the community. Some do tours as missionaries overseas. Around Columbus you may see the mobile canteen unit. My own person introduction into a food truck. Usually seen at large disasters here in OHIO to provide aid to victims, first responders, and volunteers. This location has a chapel and a resource building. Multiple services through the week, along with many age ranging activities. The resource center contains a gymnasium, and small event space with attached kitchen. I’ve really enjoyed my experiences with the SA and my introduction into giving back to the community.
