Rutland Recreation runs Summer Fun, the town's summer day camp, at Naquag Elementary School (285 Main Street) and 250 Main Street in Rutland. Campers in Kindergarten through grade 6 spend an active day on arts and crafts, science, cooking and group activities, with an optional daily swim at the Rutland Town Pool when weather permits. Camp runs 8:00am-5:00pm with early drop-off from 7:30am for an additional fee. Grades 7-8 can join a Leaders-In-Training program with teambuilding, leadership work and hands-on projects assisting with camp activities, and students entering grade 9 and above can apply to be Counselors-In-Training.

We had a nice shady spot on a bench where we could watch them play. Also, the playground is enclosed, so no need to worry about the little ones.All in all, a really nice day.
