Rome-Floyd County YMCA
Private
The YMCA of Rome & Floyd County runs a summer day camp for children ages 6-12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (pickup to 5:30 p.m.). Days combine STEAM, arts and humanities, sports and outdoor recreation with a daily 30-minute reading program and a Safety Around Water component. This independent nonprofit Y offers sibling discounts and financial assistance.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Rome-Floyd County YMCA directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleNice clean facility. Friendly staff. Hot tub in women bathroom is broken. Was told 2years ago when I joined it under regular maintenance and would be running again. Still broken.
Love the place but wish they would have better maintenance people. The facility could use some tlc.
Is this WMCA associated with all the others or is it private? We live in Peachtree Corners. The other day my husband went and they denied him the entry because supposedly all the WMCAs are different. We've never had any problems with any of them except this one. For me, when he told me that they denied him, it sounded more like an act of discrimination because he has been to almost all of them in Georgia and this has never happened to him
Took my granddaughter to try out for a lifeguard position. She swam like the devil was after her. I hope she gets the position.
Today was the first time I visited a YMCA, and it was so much fun! We went for a friend's birthday party, and now we are considering looking into a membership.
