Rocky Mountain Kids is an Aurora-area youth care provider, now part of the Innovation Learning network, running summer care and activity programming. Its campers visit the Knights of Heroes Foundation camp through the summer for canoeing, tomahawks, archery and a ropes course hosted by that program's interns. The operator's own site does not publish camper ages, session structure or daily hours.

My experience with Rocky Mountain Kids in the foothills/mtn area schools has been fantastic. The staff are very nice, accessible, flexible, responsive and caring. It is a great asset to our community.

Do not send your kid here if you have other options. Thankfully APS stopped contracting with them and sought better alternatives.

The staff is never there in the mornings when I try to drop my kids off at 6:30 (which is their listed opening time). The custodian is watching the kids until they get there - NOT OKAY!! They do not keep up on communication - I have tried to call multiple times to address the issue with dropping off, nobody can answer the phones and their voicemail is not set up! I am supposed to receive a discount as my kids are on the free/reduced lunch program and nobody has ever responded when I sent in my paperwork and am still not receiving the discount. Poor care for these children and their families. Very unprofessional and I wish I had another option for my children. Such a disheartening experience.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Complete trash! The school needs to get rid of them!

This is the worst after school program. I stopped allowing my child to go to this program due to them not having enough staff. They do not have enough staff for the amount of children they receive. Not to mention that they do not care about their staff members. They do not care if they’re understaffed. Leaving all the work to one or two employees. Their poor staff looks so overwhelmed with the amount of slack they have to pick up from management. Management hardly ever goes to help them!!!!!! I don’t even know how this establishment is still allowed by the state to stay open. Don’t get me started on the way they speak to and treat the kids!
