If I had a dollar for every time this studio made me sweat, laugh, or question my life choices mid-combo—I’d be rich. 😂 But seriously, this place is everything. The teachers are insanely talented (and somehow know when you're marking when you swear you weren’t), and the energy here is unmatched. I’ve tripped over my own feet, forgotten choreography mid-turn, and still felt like a star because the support is that real. It's basically therapy, but with music, sore muscles, and a lot more glitter. Wouldn’t want to dance anywhere else!
Daughter has been going here for the entire school year. We went to the recital yesterday and were shocked to see how awful the performances were. Some were better thank others, for example, theater for the stage was good and the broadway type thing was good but 100% of the dance performances were AWFUL regardless of age or dancing style. not sure how after a year of practice they were still this terrible. Definitely did not reflect well on the school and it makes me wonder what parents are paying for. I always heard how great RISPA was but the recitals did not match the laurels. Yikes!
RISPA stands out as a fantastic performing arts school for kids. Here's what impressed me the most: Strong Management: The school is run by professionals with a combined 20 years of experience in entertainment (RISPA Performing Arts School: Dance school in Milton, Georgia: RISPA Performing Arts School). This translates into a well-organized program and a clear focus on student growth. Friendly and Supportive Teachers: The instructors at RISPA are more than just teachers; they're mentors. They create a welcoming and encouraging environment that fosters a love for the performing arts (RISPA Performing Arts School: Dance school in Milton, Georgia: RISPA Performing Arts School). Excellent Performance Opportunities: RISPA offers a variety of opportunities for kids to showcase their talents, like summer camp performances and in-house theater productions (RISPA Performing Arts School: Dance school in Milton, Georgia: RISPA Performing Arts School, [Summer Camps | RISPA Performing Arts School]). This exposure is invaluable for building confidence and stage presence. Overall, RISPA provides a well-rounded performing arts experience for children of all ages and abilities. With its strong leadership, supportive instructors, and performance opportunities, RISPA is a great place for kids to explore their creativity and develop their performing arts talents.
We are so grateful we found RISPA. Having lived all over the country with 3 girls who all do elite activities, I have seen the good, the bad and everything in between. My daughter did 1 yr of open classes and quickly fell in love with the place so she joined company this year and the experience has been nothing but positive. Everything is laid out for you to understand expectations, the class sizes are perfect and my kid gets plenty of feedback to grow and learn. Because of the family environment, you get to know all the company kids and parents and find yourself cheering every single kid and how hard they work. I have never met a teacher that was unkind and honestly haven’t met a family there that wasn’t kind and positive. The owners treat every child like they matter … with respect and work hard to give everyone a chance to shine at whatever level they are at. They truly get to know their families. My other 2 kids love RISPA and would love to do more there too. They enjoy the shoes so much. Truly mean it when I say the shows are high quality entertainment productions and so much fun to watch. We are so grateful our child found a place she loves and she always says “mom I want to grow up at this place.”
