I feel compelled to share our experience regarding the toxic culture at this club. During our time here, my daughter—who was under 11 at the time—was subjected to consistent body shaming. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident; I personally know several other elite teenage players who faced similar treatment. These girls have gone on to become respected captains and top-tier high school players at more supportive clubs. It is disappointing to hear reports that these practices continue today. Although we left 4+ years ago, I have talked to parents that this is till currently happening as recent as this past season. Parents should be aware of the environment here, specifically under Coach K*v*n. Professionalism and player wellness should always come before harmful commentary on a child's physique. ***IF the club verifies records for people that leave revirws, we left Rise 4+ years ago and were there from when my daughter started her soccer career at age 5.***

They wasted so much of our son’s time and talent. New staff all the time, new coaches all the time no one knew what was happening, no reply to your concerns emails. Waste of money as well. They focus on more revenue and not quality.

We participated in the RISE soccer club during the spring and fall seasons of last year, and unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The environment felt unsafe for us due to the behavior of some parents and coaches. The parents from the opposing team were yelling at players (on our team), and some of the coaches, who were actually parents of the kids on the other team, were constantly yelling at the referee. It was very unsettling. Additionally, I noticed that not all the kids were receiving the same level of coaching. Some kids weren't being corrected when they made mistakes doing drills standing directly in front of the coach, and it seemed like certain players were favored over others. We even opted in for the extra practice sessions which we paid extra for and on several occasions the coach was on his phone majority of the time. We chose not to return this year because of these issues. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

My son has been in Rise soccer academy since 2023 the coaches are amazing with bonding with the kids always correct them in a positive way and always help them believe in themselves. My son enjoys playing there and they are really great academy .

We tried for two years. Going elsewhere. If your kid is purely doing this for fun and you, the parent, are cool with parents coaching, refs being checked out, and general chaos, then this is this league for you. I do highly suggest avoiding Futures league at all costs. Communication is nonexistent, weird, and/or defensive (see some of the responses they’ve made right here as examples). I never write reviews like this and actually deleted an earlier one after giving myself a week to process our recent tournament experience. However, I feel like it’s important to share our perspective with other families.
