I bought gym socks with the grips on the bottom excited to use them only to be interrupted mid workout by management telling me to put my shoes back on! Yet they have no problem forcing us to share the same dirty pink rags to wipe down all their equipment! That red head lady with the ponytail needs to get off her high horse! At least downtown is more Lenient with their people!

Have been going here since I was 11 years old. Now everytime I come with my children, it’s a staff member who is a literal child making up some new rules like children can’t be on a parents back in the pool? Then sending manager to come defend their bogus rules, and when asked to see the written policy you get asked to leave. “Family friendly” is not what the Y stands for anymore. Also to clarify my 3 year old was on my back, my hand holding her on my back with a life jacket, and my two year old was being carried in the front. I’m a single mom and I just was trying to take my kids swimming and then some life guard who could not have been more then 16 was telling me how to hold my own child? Absolutely not.

Floors of men's locker room are always dirty. Men's locker room showers are usually dirty. Family locker room walls and floors are dirty. The lockers in the men's locker room need to be cleaned. The lockers in the family locker room need to be cleaned. I plan to post this every week until these issues get taken care of.

The Y has replaced all the towels for wiping down equipment with germ sharing reusable pink towels attached to squirt bottles - spreading germs from machine to machine! This is a terrible idea! We go every Mon Wed and Fri... makes me sick watching the reuse of towels people use to blow their nose and wipe sweat. Manager said her staff would be on the floor cleaning machines. Durinf the padt 4 werks, we have never seen employee clean machines. Clean up this germ fest!

Employees are always nice and the new remodel is a good improvement, but this place still drives me nuts. I only come here for the weight room and weights are never racked correctly. Id go to any other Y if possible but this location is just too convenient for me, even if it means constant headaches trying to get the weight I need from racks. Pictures 2 and 3 (smith machine area) were added 2 months after the initial review and reply saying it was being looked into. Its a fine gym but be prepared to deal with some annoyances.
