Releve RVA runs three summer camp formats at its studio on Midlothian Turnpike outside Richmond. Single-day themed camps cover preschoolers ages 3-5 (9am-12pm, $50, crafts, games and themed classes with snacks provided) and Releve Campers ages 5-12 (9am-1pm, $60, themes such as pop star, musical theatre and arts and crafts); a 3-day dance intensive for ages 5-17 (9am-3pm, $240) places dancers by age and skill across ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap and musical theatre. Traditional week-long day camps for ages 5-12 run Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm ($175) with group games, crafts, dance/drama/acro/music classes, outdoor play and end-of-week awards, and extended care is available. Registration is open online; lunch is not provided, so campers pack a lunch and two snacks.

★Katelyn LillyWill not answer any phone calls, emails, and offered a refund for a $240 ticket order for a recital & photos we ended up missing as no one caught that they were missing a dancer that was supposed to be there. I unfortunately couldn't make sense of the scheduling excel sheet made, costing us to miss the photo shoot and dress rehearsal. We did not hear from anyone, no one called me to clarify the misunderstanding. If I had a dancer not show up for PICTURES & THE CORRECT DRESS REHEARSAL, why wouldn't someone one communicate with me about the fact that we had that information wrong. So maybe I had more information wrong- which I did. Breaking down in tears sobbing at the recital center after realizing I bought 8 tickets totaling $240, & my daughter prepared all year for everyone to see her recital. I was immediately "comforted" by Bre the owner, who seemed to care more about making sure she wasn't being blamed. She offered a refund for my tickets & to take my daughters photos to make up the ones we missed. That was May 27. It is now June 20, I have emailed the owner, who again spent more time going over the receipts of my calls & attempts to contact anyone through her website. She mentions she cannot do the refund. No mention of making up the photos. She will not respond. Please know you will not have anyone answering your phone calls, the front desk staff (if there is anyone there) will not know much information, & the website is a joke. We would've loved to continue here because the price is right, and we love the class / teacher. The owner needs to hire serious help.
