When choosing a dance studio for my daughter, I wanted to know going in that not only would she receive quality ballet instruction, but that she would be treated as a child. So often we see companies dress young girls like grown women and expect you to be okay with them dancing in a sexual manner. That is not the case with Pure Dance Works. They create an environment that nurtures young minds and instills a joy of dancing. I’m very pleased by the professional manners of all of the staff and the amount of effort they put in to go above and beyond for my daughter. As someone who has danced for many years, I can see the dedication from the teachers in instructing correct technique. We have now been there for 6 years, and my daughter has grown so much in her dancing abilities, her confidence, and her gracefulness.

If you’re looking for a dance studio for your child in Fort Wayne, look no further than Pure Dance Works. We started in Dewdrop and transitioned into Sparkle this past year. The teachers and staff are so caring, the studio clean, and the communication amazing! I always know where to on the Parent Portal look for answers regarding schedules and performance information. Not to mention the helpful once a weekly emails with the need to know information for that week. My child looks forward to class every week where they get to learn and explore beginner ballet in a small class that is safe, fun, and appropriate for their age. I’ve loved watching their confidence grow at such a young age and the encouragement by the teachers and staff. I would highly recommend Pure Dance Works to any parent!

Pure Dance Works may be the best environment I’ve ever had at a dance studio! I danced at Pre-Professional dance schools until I was injured when I was 15. My family moved quite a bit, but I’ve trained at many big name studios in the past. When I was injured I thought I was done with dance, that my dreams were over and I would never be able to step into a studio again without getting hurt. Pure Dance Works proved me wrong. Their program is dedicated to safely raising dancers to minimize injury, and support mental health. The kind teachers, and the opportunities they open up for their children are incredible. Even as a Pre-Pro, my dream was to be a teacher, and Pure literally has a program dedicated to training the next generation of dance teachers. Before I started dancing there, I was part of the Impact Team and it opened up so many doors for me. Please come to this studio, you will not regret it, and your children may even find a passion in the safest way possible! I wish I had had a studio like Pure in my life sooner ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Ps. The picture below is after about two years of training with them. When I tell you I didn’t even have this much technique and flexibility at my old studios, I mean it.

I have been bringing my granddaughter here for the past year and we love it. She is 3 years old and I like the positive, encouraging, environment she is in. This is the time to be building our children up and here at PureDanceWorks the teachers are doing just that - helping build confidence in our young ones! The class size ratio is great - for this year its been about 5-7 students to 2 teachers. Not sure of all class sizes however this was for the Sparkle 3. Being constantly on the go, I like that the costumes along with practice wear is all included in one monthly cost! We will be coming back next year!
