We signed up and paid for 8 swimming classes. However, several of the classes were not properly provided. During one class, the coach did not get into the water with my beginner daughter. She was scared, left to swim alone, and sank multiple times. This was completely unacceptable for a beginner swimming class. At the time, we were told this class would be made up. Two additional classes were canceled by the pool, and we were also told these would be rescheduled as makeup classes. I contacted the team multiple times asking about these makeup classes, and each time I was told they would be arranged. Unfortunately, nothing was ever scheduled, and our concerns were not taken seriously. In the other classes, the coach was only halfway in the water and seemed too cold to properly move around or demonstrate techniques. She did not want to get fully wet, so instead of actively teaching and guiding my daughter directly, she mostly gave verbal instructions from the side and even asked another student to help her. This is not the level of instruction we expected or paid for, especially for a young beginner who needed direct support, supervision, and hands-on guidance in the water. Because of the poor handling of these classes, the failure to provide the promised makeup sessions, and the overall disappointing experience, I believe a refund for the classes that were not properly delivered is justified And they stopped responding to our messages to make a partial refund at least!

PROtential Sports has been such a lifesaver! My son and I absolutely love their afterschool program as well as their summer camp! He has been going to their afterschool program this school year and going back for their summer camp for three second year in a row. They have prices a single mom can actually afford, it is so fair! Having ADHD can be very challenging especially at such a young age, but they have been so helpful and kind to him. He has made so many new friends as well as having the pleasure of reuniting with classmates who also attend PROtential after school and/or during the summer! They have so much to during the summer camp, there is no time to be bored! They swim daily (weather permitted, of course), as well as play basketball, soccer, pickleball, tennis and more! They also have indoor time, where they can watch an age appropriate movie or just chill out and cool down inside for a bit. They get plenty of opportunities to have snacks throughout the day and their lunch, of course! They can fill their water bottles as needed. It’s just a great program where they learn through fun activities! The coaches are great, the location is wonderful, the pool is massive and has a big curly slide located inside of Heritage Isles, a gorgeous recreation center (our choice location for summer camp)! I just can’t say enough good things. Again, they are so patient and understanding with all of the kids and I know he is in good hands when he goes there! It’s so wonderful to know your child is safe, happy, and healthy physically and mentally! Thank you so much PROtential, you have impacted our little family so positively! I would give a hundred stars if I could! 😃

There is a reason Protential Sports reviews are so low please believe them. This camp has HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION they constantly don’t answer, will tell u they will follow up and then don’t and there’s no direct communication with the coaches that are “watching” your kids, young kids “coaches” who aren’t properly trained or even trained at all to look after children, horrible MANAGEMENT with nasty attitudes (specifically Ms Wanda) and a horrible system. For example their billing is corrupt; The information stated online is confusing and doesn’t depict what they actually do as far as billing& not to mention the lies on training sports. Every time I’ve picked up the kids are wrestling around and picking each other up or MAYBE throwing or kicking a ball around that is not “strict sports training”. On their site they mention the different ways they redirect (exercise laps etc) none of that was ever done. My child has ADHD which we’re working to combat but when I asked for accommodations like an extra water break so he isn’t overstimulated I was rudely told our coaches aren’t required to have further training to accommodate and if u need those accommodations this program isn’t for you (telling my child he can go get water for a second isn’t requiring further training). Shame on me as a mother to give the benefit of the doubt and still trust them with my child after the numerous BILLING ISSUES AND LACK OF COMMUNICATION and attitudes I’ve gotten from management I should’ve known better. ANYONE can pick up your kids as long as your kid runs to them because there is no uniform system. They dismissed my child claiming behavior AFTER we talked TWICE and agreed he could still attend which is why I asked what we could do to accommodate and made sure I made it clear to state I understand some things wouldn’t be possible and only recommended things that could HELP THEM as ik dealing with ADHD can be difficult. At this same time i asked could i delay billing because their system is corrupt and confusing and I’ve been paying weeks in advance so he was covered to attend until 1/12. It’s coincidental that after we agreed he could return and then I asked for a delay on billing SINCE IVE PAID IN ADVANCE they then retract what they say about him returning. I’ve requested a refund but I’m not holding my breathe. Steer clear of this unpleasant, unprofessional place.

I’m disappointed with Protential Sports. The coaches themselves are kind and great with the kids, but the organization and leadership are extremely dysfunctional. I had serious concerns about my kids’ safety. There is no proper monitoring of who picks up the children, and communication about their whereabouts is poor. After my program ended, they still picked up my kids on a Monday without authorization. The school was confused, I was terrified, and no one knew where my kids were — only to find out Protential picked them up by mistake. Even after this serious error, they never apologized. Instead, they charged me for the entire week and the remaining weeks, despite it being their mistake. The coaches are good, but the safety issues, lack of accountability, and poor communication make this program very concerning.

My son loved flag footballball this year. We will definitely come back for a second season. We also do after school potential. They do not have a sign out sheet as they should but they know what the parents look like. My son enjoys playing new games and sports at this program
