Project Discovery is a Reno outdoor-adventure program based at the Sky Tavern site on Mt. Rose Highway. Its summer day camp runs 8:30am–5:00pm with drop-off and pick-up at the Mt. Rose base, and it also offers a 5-day/4-night backcountry River Camp in Northern California featuring backpacking, camping, rock climbing, cliff jumping and river time.

Mike and Jim did a fantastic job of meeting each individual where we were, and pushing each of us to go "one step further." For some that meant supporting the team from the ground, for others it meant walking on a cable 60' in the air. And while we were doing that, my kids participated in their day-camp, challenging themselves on some crazy obstacles, and the loved it.
