Overnight (sleepaway) youth camp operated by the City of Concord Parks & Recreation on a 29-acre forested site near South Lake Tahoe, between Lake Tahoe and Fallen Leaf Lake. Youth Camp offers 5-day/4-night sessions for ages 9-14 with canoeing, kayaking, hiking, swimming, horseback riding, archery, volleyball, arts & crafts, and dances. Serves up to 100 campers per week with a focus on adventure, achievement, and acceptance.

Don't worry, even they are pretty chill and keep the bad bugs at bay. Accommodations are good. Snack Shack, Medical Cabin (nurse), and canteen (mess hall) all good. Parking is a problem if more that 12 cars show up (like parents). Overall a safe place from the 3 years my son has attended.
