Camp Galilee is a Christian overnight adventure camp run by the Episcopal Diocese on the shores of Lake Tahoe in Glenbrook, Nevada, welcoming campers of all faiths ages 8-15. One-week sessions run from late June through early August with about 40 campers each week sleeping in cabins or tipis, and adventure programming includes overnight backpacking, rock climbing, kayaking and hiking around the Tahoe Basin.

★TAYLOR GREENEThe week long kids camp was an awful experience. It is hard to imagine that beautiful lake front property and scenery isn’t the focus. Instead the kids were pressured to share their pronouns. In my option this is child abuse without a present parent.

The tee-pees are fun to sleep in. The accommodations are mixed, some are brand new, some are from the 70s, but everything is in good condition and clean. We have been blessed with all types of weather when we attend - snow, heat, rain, wind. We have seen the lake high and low, calm and rough. Regardless of what the mountain weather gives us, we are always in awe of the beauty and sanctuary. It is a magical place, regardless of your denomination of faith.
