★LeonI’ve been training consistently for years and have used multiple YMCA locations, so this experience stood out in a negative way. At this location, I was told I’m not allowed to bring my gym bag onto the workout floor. That might sound minor, but it creates a real inconvenience for anyone who trains seriously. I use multiple pieces of equipment—lifting belt, dip belt, straps—and being forced to walk back and forth to the locker room every time I need something disrupts the entire workout. What makes it worse is the inconsistency. Other YMCA locations allow you to keep your bag nearby or off to the side, which is much more practical. Requiring everything to be carried out piece by piece actually creates more clutter on the floor and increases the chance of items being stepped on or exposed to germs. Policies should make the gym safer and more efficient—not harder to use. Unfortunately, this rule does the opposite. Because of this, I’ll be going to a different location that better supports a functional training environment.

★★★Catrina HinesmanI was really excited about this location being close to home but when I checked the restrooms the stalls were pretty roomy and that was a plus for me. The huge downfall was that both of their restrooms only had grab bars on the right. Doesn't work well for someone who is left side dominant and in a power chair. I run the risk of falling. So I won't be going back which is a BUMMER.

★★★★★John NeacePremier Health Urgent care, and Premier YMCA on Philadelphia Avenue in Dayton, Ohio is open. I should say that the YMCA is open. This is the site that the old Good Samaritan hospital was for years. The new Premier location look's nice. With a large parking area there should be no problem with parking issues. Some people didn't agree with the removal of Good Samaritan hospital, but give the new Premier location a chance.
