Planet Fastpitch is a fastpitch softball training facility in Uxbridge that runs summer softball schools, either at its own 30,000 sq ft indoor center or customized in a player's hometown. Schools are offered as one-, two- or three-day sessions and are position-focused: Total Skills, Pitcher/Catcher, Hitter Boot Camp, Slapping Boot Camp, a Rookie School of 45-minute fundamentals sessions, and a recruiting combine prep clinic. It also runs the Elaine Sortino Softball School series with dated pitcher, hitter, catcher and junior sessions each July. Instructors are current and former collegiate and high school players and coaches.
