A must visit workshop. One can learn glass blowing techniques along side the tools and equipment required in glass making. This place has its own store selling items made of glass which is little towards expensive side. Has art gallery and different rooms with tools and equipment varying from laser cutting to sanding and even 3d printers

Pittsburgh Glass Center is a combination studio space and teaching studio, where you can take classes to learn the craft of glassblowing. The studio had an exhibit filled with the students’ art, and it was simply exceptional; with some truly impressive pieces on par with most museums. I’ll have to come back and take a class.

Visited during First Friday, extremely glad we did. Amazing place, beautiful glass work. Great folk working there; all very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to explain/talk to everyone about their work and processes. If you haven't visited yet, you are missing out!!

Great place to visit for the young artist at heart it will be inspiring. Self guided tours, I went early in the morning as soon as it opened at 10:00 am. Had a chance to see the glass sculptures but none of the students were there yet. I would recommend later in the day when students and classes are running at full kilns

We took a glass blowing class today at the Pittsburgh Glass Center - James and Lyla were absolutely amazing! So informational and super nice to work with. The made sure we had a good time and made each piece really our own. It was such a cool experience. 10/10. I can’t wait to go pick up the final product and see the results. I highly recommend!
