The Petersburg Area Art League (PAAL) is a nonprofit gallery and art education center in historic Old Towne Petersburg, founded in 1932. Its summer art camp runs small, teacher-led classes across painting, sculpture, printmaking, collage and textiles, grouped by age into 6-8, 9-11 and 12-and-up sections with step-by-step guidance from teaching artists. Gallery admission is free, and PAAL offers need-based scholarships so families with limited resources can attend camp.
