Petersburg Area Art League
Private
The Petersburg Area Art League (PAAL) is a nonprofit gallery and art education center in historic Old Towne Petersburg, founded in 1932. Its summer art camp runs small, teacher-led classes across painting, sculpture, printmaking, collage and textiles, grouped by age into 6-8, 9-11 and 12-and-up sections with step-by-step guidance from teaching artists. Gallery admission is free, and PAAL offers need-based scholarships so families with limited resources can attend camp.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Petersburg Area Art League directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.
