Kids had a ton of fun and enjoyed the staff. They do take some pictures and post on Instagram daily. Only thing I would recommend is that they get confirmation from parents before snapping pics and posting. The entrance way needs attention as there are many pot holes and small vehicles may have some bumps that can smack you around.

Beautiful weekend spent with beautiful people. The grounds are well taken care of and the staff is amazing! Truly an enlightening experience. The metal spring beds are a bit dated, the wooden beds are comfortable. Double up on mattresses if you can for the spring beds, egg crate mattresses won’t help spring bed, but will make wooden beds more comfortable. Make sure to wear sunscreen during the day, and big spray at night. One of the pools is out of commission, but we fit about 52 kids and volunteers in the other pool. Bring good walking shoes, not a lot of flat ground. You’ll definitely get your steps in. I walked about 6 miles a day when here. Absolutely wonderful!

Pros: The activities like daily swimming, Gaga, Arts and Crafts, and various games were a lot of fun for our son (6). The counselors were pleasant and our son enjoyed the outdoor fun. Cons: As mentioned by previous reviewers, the Director has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to certain behaviors - even poor choices made by young children. Communication about the consequences after an incident is also poor. We were told one thing by the Assistant Director and the next week (after we were told our son would be welcome back at late care) we were called to pick up our child early without explanation until later that evening when we asked the Director to call us. I will say that he apologized for the miscommunication and offered a refund for late care that week (since he would not allow our son back to late care). However, if you have a younger child (under the age of 8) that may throw a rock, be too aggressive with another camper, or generally has moments where they make a poor choice in an unstructured situation, be aware that he/she will not be given a second chance at this camp and it's possible that you may not get a refund (as per the parent manual). It's a shame because our son enjoyed the camp overall, but we cannot risk losing hundreds or thousands of dollars if he gets kicked out because of an incident where he made a poor decision. Sadly, we will be looking elsewhere for a camp next summer.

A wonderful experience for kids! A variety of outdoor activities an absolutely no electronics! My son outgrew his summer daycare program and needed something much more engaging... The Counselor dare great with the kids and they come home exhausted! Love it!
