I have gone to Parker Dance Academy since 2020 and I have been welcomed with open arms!! There have been a couple of rocky roads but we have smoothed things out. All of the teachers are so kind and caring! I have loved to come to dance every day since i have started attending PDA. All of my peers and friends would say the same. It’s like a second home! PDA is the perfect place to send a child of all ages to not only learn dance, but have fun doing it!! ❤️

My daughter attended a dance class on the evening of November 4th were she was exposed to a father of one of the other students smoking pot in the bathroom. Her Mother let the staff know that and they simply sprayed a scented air freshener to cover up the smell - no action was taken against the father. My daughter has been attending classes there for 3 months and she is 3 years old, which is very young to be screamed at and called "crazy" in front of the other students and parents. My daughter was asked to leave the class and her mother left the school with her. This humiliated my daughter and her Mother. This type of behavior by the instructor is way out of line and warrants careful consideration of a parent having their child or children attending the school. I have personally taught children how to ski from the ages of 3 through 16 and never once treated any of them in this manner. Every child is different and more often than not a reflection of their parents and both myself and especially her Mother treat her with respect, kindness and love. My daughter is a happy, very friendly, and intelligent young girl and in no way deserved to be treated the way that she was by the instructor. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HAVING YOUR CHILD ATTENDING THIS DANCE SCHOOL.

My daughter has been dancing with PDA for 10 years, and it has truly become her home away from home. We have been so happy with the instruction our daughter has received over the years. They have always valued technique and teaching the basics. While they offer a competition team, they also support many recreational dancers with a variety of classes at many levels. My daughter started with their company 3 years ago and has had an amazing growth while doing it! Last year, the studio did go through some growing pains, but this year feels like we are back on solid ground. The new owners, Toni & Ceresa, have jumped right in with confidence and positivity. They own another studio in the Springs, and have been around the dance world for a while. I have faith that they will continue to grow and support our dancers at PDA. I was aware of both Toni & Ceresa from previous competitions, and I was always blown away by the talent of their dancers. Their passion for dance and their students is evident. They clearly want to support each dancer along their dance journey. The staff at PDA is absolutely amazing! They are super dedicated and supportive of all of their students, and each other. They have such good relationships with their students and their student's families. The teachers promote a supportive and nurturing community amongst the dancers. It's truly such a safe and caring environment where the students all feel supported, and want to support each other. I couldn't recommend PDA enough for both rec dancers and dancers looking for competition dance.

I had my daughter at this studio for 2 years. The first year was great, but the second year was a completely different story. The studio became very unorganized, no communication about pictures (so her class missed them), recitals always scheduled on Father’s Day in a hot auditorium with no A/C, and constant drama among staff and parents that spilled into the experience. The worst part was a serious safety issue: a mirror that wasn’t secured fell on my 5-year-old daughter and shattered. She was upset and embarrassed, and staff didn’t even apologize, other parents were the ones who helped us. Safety should be a top priority, and it clearly isn’t here. Overall, this studio is not focused on the kids, their safety, or their growth in dance. Between the disorganization, lack of professionalism, and unsafe environment, it’s not worth the money. There are much better studios that truly care about their dancers.

We switched to Parker Dance Academy and have been so impressed with the excellent ballet training and technique. By far the best dance school in area.
