Papa Carlos is an excellent tennis coach… inspiring my son Lex to do more and to explore its potential. His team of coaches are amazing and fun that Lex is motivated to attend every training session. We are from Calgary - Canada and we always come to Pearland, Texas to attend Papa Carlos summer camp for the last 2 years. In just 3 weeks, Lex from a beginner and now can do rally and play with the advance players. I also suggest to attend Papa Carlos private lessons as he is so good in sharpening your strong/weak tennis skills. Papa Carlos runs a great program. Carlos is an awesome instructor. He was the reason my daughter played 4 years of varsity tennis. He developed her skills at a young level. She started at 6th grade with Carlos. As she grew older he refined those skills to a varsity level player as a freshman at a very competitive high school. He is a great instructor for beginners and advanced players.

Papa Carlos and the academy he runs is a phenomenal, no-nonsense, and fun place to develop as a player. I started playing late, but entrusting papa Carlos to instill in me all the necessary lessons for success was one of the best decisions for my career. I ended up playing college tennis at the junior college level and captained for a national championship team. If it wasn’t for the lessons of grit, determination, the will to be the best player I could be in the short time I had learned from papa Carlos, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Papa Carlos is an amazing tennis coach as well as the helping coaches. Papa Carlos’s summer camps are amazing too, the camps are a great way for your child to grow their tennis skills and make great friends along the way. I recommend Papa Carlos if you or your child want to learn how to play the fun sport of tennis and become the next champion because Papa Carlos coaches players to become the best player of tennis. I am thankful for the many years of playing and memories I have spent with Papa Carlos. Do not expect to just sit and do nothing, Papa Carlos will make you work hard on the court to get you to a top level of play. 10/10 recommend.

Papa Carlos and his team have done an excellent job of introducing my kids to the game of tennis. He has made it’s a fun and busy experience which keeps them focussed on learning the basics. Getting kids off technology is a challenge on a good day, but hearing them ask “can we go play tennis? What time is practice?” Good to see so many kids out each day learning and enjoying a sport they can take with them throughout their lives. I can safely say with people like Coach Carlos in their lives they will develop the skills needed to excel in life.
