Paly Robotics, the student-run FIRST Robotics Competition team at Palo Alto High School, runs a summer day camp on campus for students entering 6th through 9th grade, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., over two week-long sessions in mid and late June. Campers pick one of four tracks per week: Robot Design and Hardware (prototyping and building to FRC-style game challenges), Programming (Python for robotics, curricula for both new and advanced coders), Entrepreneurship and Website Design (business plans, a mock pitch to local executives, and a site built in HTML, CSS and Git), or Animation and Graphic Design (animated short, movie poster and merchandise design). High school team members serve as counselors, no previous experience is required, and the curriculum repeats each week. Registration is $525 per session, with financial aid available through the Paly Robotics Boosters on request.

Tbh everything went to crap when robotics build captain Evan “the goat” chang graduated 😔
spent some time here in the summer. very enjoyable, made many friends, team was friendly and activities were very fun.
Pretty enjoyable and memorable. The team was very friendly and the activities are something you dont do every day. If you like hardware or computers, this is the place to spend a few weeks of your summer.
