I'd advise going somewhere else for Tball. This season was a disaster. Schedule constantly changing and coaching no being notified. Every other field on the property was taken care and mowed except the baseball fields. Finally our 3 teams came together to make our own Schedule to play because the posted schedule from the Y would could change 3 time in 1 day.

The Owasso YMCA has been my lifeline with an almost 2 year old. The Play and Learn center is just wonderful. They have so much going on and yet handle it all with grace and patience. My little girl loves being there, and it's been so good for her to socialize and learn to play. The gym is well stocked with most machines/weights one could want, though expect to be patient if you're after something in particular. The staff I've met so far are sweet and engaging, and I look forward to seeing them daily. The classes are mostly good, I do wish there were some higher level yoga sessions. The facilities overall are clean and tidy. I'm ever so thankful for the Y and all who maintain it!

Being an unbiased observer, I noticed a swim instructor named Ryland doing an exceptional job teaching young children swim lessons. It was obvious he really cared about the kids and sincerely enjoyed instructing them to swim. He smiled a lot and was extremely patient with them. When I came in with my grand daughters to swim he offered to help one with putting on their wristband and smiled and was very friendly, I have seen him teaching swim lessons there before and his demeanor is always the same.

Staff always recognizes me, at check in, with a kind greeting, and when I leave they wish me a good day with a smile. Recent promotions to increase membership seems to be effective. I have noticed the appearance of more members using the workout areas.

The Owasso Y is one of my favorite places to go! I know I will always be welcomed with a smile. The fitness and chair yoga classes keep me coming back. Ramona is a wonderful instructor who is mindful of everyone’s needs and limitations and makes recommendations for the best results. She takes a personal interest in everyone in the class and makes the whole experience very positive. It’s not just about the physical benefits of the classes that I appreciate, but Ramona’s deep concern for our emotional well-being as well.
