We booked this ymca pool and nature center for my daughter's birthday. From the beginning we received bad information from the office. We were told we would need to tour and make an appointment. When we called the office back to make the appointment, they said to just show up whenever, it'd be fine. We showed up whenever, the coordinator was busy and asked if we had made an appointment. She went ahead and quickly showed us around. We got back to the office, made sure our birthday party was good to go, offered to put money down towards the party and was told it wasn't necessary. 2 weeks before the party, we received an email stating we would get a call to finalize details. We never received a call. The day before the party, we got an email that since we hadn't put down the deposit, the party would be limited. It was originally supposed to be a private party. They made it a public party. Which worked out in the end because we had a couple groups of attendees that couldn't make it and it made our party half the price. My only complaint is the poor communication from the office and not getting all this in writing so they couldn't change it up on me. Party was fun. Pool was fun. The lifeguards were attentive. In the end, thanks ymca for accommodating us and helping my daughter bring in her "dive into five"

My family has enjoyed the pool here. I appreciate the number of attentive lifeguards, and they all seem friendly and fun. It helps me to have a little more peace of mind while I'm swimming with my child.

The location is beautiful. It isn't a typical YMCA by any means. The pool is awesome! The grounds are beautiful and fun to explore but beware of poison ivy! Also, there are next to no trash receptacles so the day campers litter EVERYWHERE when camp is in session. Also, when camp is in session you will have limited access to the facility for good reason. Always check on hours before you go! It's beautiful but the litter and abundance of poison ivy right next to the trails takes this facility down from a 5+ to barely a 3. If those were addressed this place would be the jewel of the local Y's for sure simply because it is so unique.

This facility cares, period. My daughter has gained so much more than knowledge and skill. Camaraderie, patience, teamwork, overcoming struggles, listening skills and friendship are only a few things she's garnered via the Herman and Kate Kaiser volleyball program. Coach Kelly has patience, grace, a sense of humor, and mad skills. I highly recommend this program, and coach Stacy Kelly. Thank you!
