Future Owasso Rams

Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. 6th grade basketball was supposed to start practice end of OCT, and after several calls and e-mails, finally received a call from the coach the day after Thanksgiving. The coach and fellow volunteer coaches have been amazing with what they’ve been able to work with. The stress put on the future youth athletes on this team to be thrown into a game with little to no practice- while every other team has practiced for over a month is very discouraging to the players- and the parents that pay to support this organization (or disorganization I would say). Future Owasso Rams should have so much more to offer. We didn’t even have uniforms for our team for the first game. 2 practices- no uniforms- then to find out the parent that has paid for all of this to take place gets to pay an admission fee to watch their ill prepared child play in a game that leaves them feeling depressed is simply horrible.

The person who runs F.O.R. has poor communication skills and also puts all sports, behind, every season. Every single year we start practicing weeks after our competitors have. Every year we sit and wait wondering when teams will get formed as other clubs have already been practicing. This also causes issues when trying to get uniforms ordered. Its a very well known issue amongst many many Owasso families and its been going on for many years.
