San Diego nonprofit (501c3, founded 1999) using outdoor adventure for youth development, serving young people ages 9-24 from communities affected by social inequities. Through partnerships with schools and social-service agencies, participants surf, snowboard, mountain bike, rock climb, hike, backpack and snorkel, and can join leadership and outdoor-industry job-training tracks. Enrollment is through partner organizations rather than open individual sign-up.
