Olympo Gymnastics is a family-owned gym on West Highway 80 in Forney that runs a summer camp with pre-registration through its online parent portal. Year-round the gym teaches toddler, preschool, girls' and boys' recreational gymnastics, tumbling and competitive gymnastics, and also hosts Parent's Night Out, private lessons and birthday parties. Free trial classes are offered. The summer camp page does not list camp hours, ages or pricing.

In the beginning she took 2 classes a week, one for tumbling and the other for gymnastics which focuses on beam, bars, and vault. She had never taken a gymnastics class before and in the 2.5 years she has been training here she can perform a back handspring, a back flip, a twisting backflip, an ariel and more skills that I don’t know the name of. She can vault, leap from one bar to the other, etc… It’s important to know that the coaches focus on SAFE skill building and that it takes time. It could be a year before your child is confident enough to perform an unaided back handspring. Yes, some of the coaches are young, some of them are high school or college students (cheerleaders and/or gymnast themselves) but they know what they are doing! It’s not a flashy gym but that’s one of the ways they keep it affordable. We’re incredibly happy with Olympo and would suggest it to anyone!
