Ohio Hoopsters is a Columbus-based AAU basketball organization fielding competitive boys' and girls' travel teams from roughly 3rd through 11th grade. Players join through tryouts and practice about twice per week at Columbus-area gyms, with an emphasis on skill development and academics. It is a season-long travel program rather than a traditional summer camp.

After paying for my son to play for one of their teams I was told he could practice (with a random person who they claim isn’t a coach) but couldn’t play in the games. I requested a refund and was asked how much I thought I deserved back. Please do your research I wish I had! Every week there’s random kids brought to play in the games while the kids that actually pay to play on this team sit on the bench.
