Powered by GoogleI have had the pleasure of taking excellent dance classes at ODC SF’s dance studios for the past 10+ years. I have performed in a couple of the workshop showcases at the theater.
Been taking dance classes with rhythm and motion, since late eighties. Best dance studio in the world and i've been to forty countries!! Wonderful inspiring and gentle teachers... Warm supportive community... My second home
quite possibly the best studio in sf. classes can get a bit pricey at $21 for dropin but they have a super helpful arts access programs for full time dancers, teachers, etc. variety of classes and quality of instructors is unmatched. there is truly something for everyone and it's in a great location with fantastic facilities.
The beginner salsa class is not really for beginners. The instructor just shows off, overloads and does not pay attention to anything student does. They are in their own world. I understand that I can't learn to dance in one class but I did not pick a single thing to work on. It was a frustrating experience.
The dance classes here are phenomenal. take a class with Tika Morgan - she is a tough teacher but you will learn so much about dance, culture roots and life wisdom.
