Ocean City Arts Center runs an eight-week summer art camp made up of weekly themed sessions - beach and Ocean City art, surf art for ages 6-9 and others - in which campers complete two projects a day across acrylic painting on canvas, mosaics, clay, watercolor and mixed media. Sessions meet 9:00am-noon, a half-day format, at roughly $175 per week, and draw several hundred local, seasonal and visiting children each summer. The center also teaches year-round classes and workshops for youth and adults in visual arts, pottery, dance and instrumental music.
