My son played in a box lacrosse tournament there, and after a recent visit he accidentally left a piece of his equipment behind. As any sports parent knows, that sinking feeling is the worst. When I reached out, the staff immediately jumped in to help. They found it quickly and are going out of their way to package it up and mail it back to us. They absolutely didn’t have to do that, and it really speaks volumes about the kind of people running this facility. We’re incredibly grateful — it’s reassuring to know that this kind of human decency and care still exists. Oakwood isn’t just a great place to play a variety of sports; it’s a place that truly looks out for its families. Thank you for going above and beyond.
★★Greg DFields and courts seem appropriate and good for use but facility does not appear to be well maintained and definitely does not have adequate restroom facilities. Restrooms are pretty gross and probably should be a point of focus for upgrading with the income this facility brings in. Viewing areas for turf fields are a good add on but plexi glass windows on these are all loose and ready to fall out which is a safety hazard.
