Northwest Theatre Lab, with rehearsal space at 1416 E Main Ave in Puyallup, teaches theatre, vocal training and musical theatre to children of all ages. Its summer offerings are one-week rehearsal-and-production camps for roughly ages 6-12, built around familiar shows - a Willy Wonka camp, a Moana camp, a Shrek-inspired camp - in which campers sing, dance and act toward a staged performance, plus one-day workshops and technique sessions. They treat the kids like miniature professionals, but also like family. A great mix of learning how to sing, dance, and act while still having fun.
