Powered by GoogleEverything here is always broken. The mens restroom near the kids zone hasn't been fully functional in over two years. For $170 a month membership fee you'd think the place wouldn't be as decrepit as it is. No other YMCA's are in this bad of shape Adding to the list until things get fixed 5/26 no hot water at any sinks. Ironically there's signs reminding everyone to wash their hands with hot water 5/26 mens restroom near kid zone water leaking from sink 6/10 playground broken or part mass timber structure? Who knows. Only thing certain is splinters
Overall, enjoying this place, but a a few suggestions: 1. Towel service option (I'm willing to pay extra!) would be a game changer. 2. Lockers with numbered code locks would be another big plus. 3. Candlelight hot yoga
I’ve been a member of this YMCA for a while, but the environment in the group classes has become unbearable due to a recurring hygiene issue. There is a member whose body odor is so overwhelming that it fills half the gym floor, making it difficult for others to breathe or focus on their workout. Multiple people have been visibly distressed and forced to move away to avoid feeling faint. It’s ironic that while he seems to care about oral hygiene (constantly chewing gum), the lack of basic body hygiene and the choice of wearing tank tops only exacerbates the smell. This has seriously impacted the health and well-being of the community. I urge management to enforce a basic hygiene policy for the sake of all members.
In the shower during the swim class time with little kids around, I have seen on multiple occasions a few guys fully naked in the shower area, while there are private showers available to use. Why? YMCA doesn't do anything about it. It's disgusting really.
So far my experience here has been great. No wait to check in and the equipment matches what they have at the Bellevue location which makes it easy to be consistent. Multiple indoor courts, pool, free weights, cardio + strength training as well as a few areas for kids that I didn't check out.
