Northeast Kingdom Running Camp is a week-long overnight camp for middle and high school cross-country runners entering grades 7-12, based on the Vermont State University campus in Lyndon. Campers stay in college dormitories and train on the Northeast Kingdom's trails and running venues, with a curriculum built for high-school-aged runners of all ability levels.

From the owners to the nurses to the coaches - everyone is aligned in the goal to give the kids the safest, most amazing week of their lives. My son is a type 1 diabetic, so I had a lot of medical questions/concerns. Joan (one of the nurses) was on top of everything! She was responsive and kept a continuous dialogue with both my son and with me - I never had to stress once or wonder how my son was managing his diabetes. Every bit as important - he got to have fun just like everyone else. He will definitely be going back next year and is already talking about being a coach there some day.
