The Adventure Center at Stowe Mountain Resort is the base for Stowe's Summer Adventure Camp, a day camp for children ages 3–12 running June through August, Monday–Saturday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Campers hike and climb on Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak and enjoy golf, tennis, disc golf, field games, water play, a low ropes course, and arts and crafts, with age groups for 3–4, 5–7, and 8–12. Older kids (7–12) can join a more strenuous Mountain Adventure Program.

★Ebrahim Ghazvini ZadehIce skate rentals are $25 per pair, which would be fine if the equipment justified the price; but it absolutely didn’t. The boots felt like bricks. Extremely stiff, hard to tighten properly around the feet, and poorly designed for comfort or support. Because they wouldn’t secure well, skating required constant overcompensation just to stay balanced, which quickly led to foot pain. After about five minutes of struggling and trying to make it work, we gave up and returned the skates - $50 gone. At a resort destination like Spruce Peak, charging premium prices comes with an expectation of at least decent-quality gear. This felt like paying top dollar for rentals that should have been retired long ago. If you’re planning to skate here, be aware that the cost does not reflect the quality of the equipment at all. Bring your own boots, I know I should!
★Richard SporThe ice rink rental closes at 5. Me and my fiancé were there 12 minutes before closing as well as another couple. The rental guy closed the window as we were walking up and told us he got permission to close early. Very inconsiderate, and a bad look for him as well as epic resorts.
